Daniel Leggett

Managing Director

Dan did his apprenticeship at Lotus and then went on to earn his Masters in Engineering at Brunel where he wrote his final year dissertation on turbocharging a CBR600 motorbike engine. Then he joined Siemens in their small frame gas turbines moving up to medium and then large frame turbines. Simultaneously, Dan moved from a combustion engineer to a project manager where he became a chartered engineer (CEng). He has managed project teams at Parker Hannifin, becoming a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Meggitt, and completed his MBA at Imperial College London. He can’t help but show his love and enthusiasm for engineering!

A lesser known fact: Dan worked on Andy Carters Top Fuel Drag Car, and the team won the European Championship in 2001.

Jason Hurren

Customer Support Manager

Having joined Round House in 2019, Jason manages all contracts within the business, excluding those in the Oil and Gas industry, from receipt of request to delivery. Jason completed a four year mechanical engineering apprenticeship at Europack and has worked in subsea control and protection systems along with other various engineering industries. He has an HNC in mechanical engineering, an ONC in electronics and electrical engineering and his CAD level two.

Jason spends most of his free time with his family.

An interesting and little known fact about Jason is that whilst doing his apprenticeship at Europack they built a nine seater bike and rode the bike to France for Charity.

Dale Cone

Team Leader

Dale left school at 16 and from there went straight into working on the shop floor at Harrod Sport. He worked there for 5 years before moving to Roundhouse, where he has been for the last 16 years. At Roundhouse, Dale is the ’Timberwolf Team Leader’, but he has found a ‘happy-medium’ between the office and the shop floor. As a result of knowing both parts of the business, he is able to do his job to the best of his ability.

Dale is very good at DIY, and when he’s not at Roundhouse he’s working at home on a variety of DIY projects. He also owns some sit-on kayaks and is hoping to take them onto the sea to do some fishing with his son.

A little-known fact about Dale is that his wife is the Scouts District Club Leader and so Dale often volunteers to help out with various Scouts activities.

Andrew Coleman

Business Development Manager; Oil and Gas

Andrew is responsible for the Round House Oil and Gas division, managing from quotations through to project management and completion. He conducts sales research, and manages key customer relationships, enabling thorough and predictive management of upcoming orders.

During his 25-year tenure, Andrew has held various positions including Quality Assurance Manager, Health & Safety Manager, General Manager and Sales Director.

Andrew began his career in 1977 as an apprentice with Howards Metal Fabricators. Later he worked Offshore and as a Supervisor at Sizewell B before joining Roundhouse in 1994. Further education includes City and Guilds in Sheet Metal Fabricating and Welding and QA/QC Inspection gained at Lowestoft College.

Andrew is passionate about golf and travels the world in pursuit of playing. In 2004 Andrew had the honour of being selected as Club Captain of Rookery Park Golf Club.

Jamie Jarvis

Supply Chain Manager

Jamie has been with Round House since 1998. He sources materials and services at the best price for our customers and the business. A natural problem solver, he helps to manage machine breakdowns, site maintenance and repairs.

Previously, Jamie worked as a mechanical and electrical maintenance apprentice and as an electrical / electronic production technician. He has qualifications, skills and experience in fabrication, machining, welding, electrical & electronics, hydraulics & pneumatics.

When Jamie is not spending time with his family, he has a passion for creating retro arcade gaming projects. From concept, design, planning, building and programming. And when he has time, he attempts to play them.

A lesser known fact: Jamie was one of the first Fire Cadets within the history of Norfolk Fire Brigade to achieve all five-star exams as a Leading Fire Cadet.
